In your office
sysGUARD™ Backup takes the hassle out of backing up. We'll move your local backup away from tape-based systems to a disk-based storage device. This is faster and does away with the need to keep changing tapes.
We'll agree with you a customised backup strategy detailing what is to be backed up, how and when, and how long files are to be kept. The system will be checked daily, and once a month we will do a test restore on a randomly selected file to ensure there is no corruption of the data.
Away from your office
Relying on a local backup is useless if your premises are hit by fire, theft, flood, a catastrophic hardware failure, even a terrorist attack. Every organisation should arrange to store data off site so that it will be recoverable in the event of disaster.
Initially we'll back up all your data on a portable hard drive and store it off site in our data centre. Then we make a nightly 'differential' backup, copying just the data which has changed since the previous night. It is encrypted and sent via the internet to our data centre.
Off-site Data Storage can be setup for servers, desktops, and laptops.
